- Description: WOOLLEN GOODS (Blankets) - Bales are sometimes lined with an inferior waterproof paper in which bitumen of a very low melting point has been used between the two layers of paper. From 140 degrees to 150 degrees F, the bitumen is freed and this combined with pressure causes the soiling of the goods. See also FABRICS.
