- Description: MUSTARD SEED - If packed in a moist state there is a risk of fermentation. Heat, unless excessive, usually has no bad effect on mustard seed, but any contact with water, whether fresh or salt, results in the immediate deterioration of quality. Sale of damaged seeds should be arranged with the least possible delay.
