- Description: BUCHU LEAVES - Used primarily for medicinal purposes, the oil being extracted from the leaf. There are three grades, the short or round leaf, the oval leaf, and the long leaf. Exported in the leaf form in bales. Color and oil content adversely affected by contact with bright light and heat.
