FRUIT JUICES (Raw and Concentrated)
- Description: Normally shipped for distribution, but may be shipped in larger containers. If the shipped container is damaged, allowing air to enter, the sulphur dioxide preservative which is in the solution tends to vaporize and the juices will ferment. If noticed in the early stages, sodium thiosulphate can be added, which may stop decomposition. See also FRUIT PULP.
