Marine insurers should be aware that today a vessel closing is more than just transferring the funds and signing one document. Today it can become virtual robbery using just a cell phone. There are numerous risks in the transaction process that can become the insurers problem in many ways that were previously never a concern. Diverted funds, false documents, fishing scams, spoofing and other internet attacks.
