Hudson Rising explores 200 years of ecological change and environmental activism along “the most interesting river in America” through artifacts, media, and celebrated Hudson River School paintings. The exhibition reflects and celebrated Hudson River School paintings. The exhibition reflects on how human activity has impacted the river and, in turn, how the river environment has shaped industrial development, commerce, tourism, and environmental awareness. The exhibition also explores how experts in various fields are currently creating ways to restore and re-engineer areas of the river in response to climate change.  Read more

This educational and fun event is limited to the first 25 to register.

Fee of $25 (Includes 60-minute guided tour of Hudson Rising exhibit for our group at 4PM, admission to all Museum exhibitions; admission to films New York Story and We Rise.)

The AIMU/AMIF/MICA Next Gen Planning Committee will offer suggestions for options for the group to visit a local restaurant following the tour. Stay tuned but register now as space is limited. Meeting location at museum to follow.
